Performance improvement counseling is an extension of performance evaluation and professional development. It is a process intended to help supervisors and staff members overcome work-related shortcomings, strengthen job performance, and succeed. This course helps supervisors become familiar with the process of counseling and discover ways that counseling can be used as a strategy to address poor employee performance.
