Dear Dr. Scheuerman: This is to confirm our mutual understanding that the State University will not direct employees to absent themselves and charge such absence to leave accruals or leave without pay on the day after Thanksgiving. Such day may, however, either be designated by the College President or selected by an employee as the date on which a floating holiday is observed, pursuant to the terms and conditions set forth in Section 23.5 of this Agreement.
