Appendix A-8 Dr. William E. Scheuerman, President
Dear Dr. Scheuerman: This will confirm our mutual understanding that data provided to UUP by either the State or a College President, or designee, pursuant to Articles 16 and 17 of the Agreement shall be in computer-readable form if it exists in that format and if it is requested in that format by UUP. Notwithstanding the above, neither the State nor the College shall be required to provide data in a format requested by UUP if it does not already exist in that format. Further, it is understood that nothing in this letter will require the State or the College to reprogram to meet a specific format request. Finally, should any additional costs be associated with providing the data in computer-readable form over and above what it currently costs the State or the College to provide the data, these costs will be borne by UUP. Furthermore, this letter shall confirm that, where the State acts favorably on requests for information and data submitted by UUP pursuant to Article 17, the State shall encourage the campuses to act promptly in making such information available to UUP.
